Dear David, Doreen and family,
Your mom was my beloved Parina and I have many fond memories of her and my Parino Angelo. She was always so kind, thoughtful and generous. I was very lucky to have had her and Aunt Mary living next door to my Nanna on 20th Avenue when I lived there as a small child. There was never a Tampa vacation that did not involve one or more visits to her house for dinner (fresh crabs!!!) or being treated to a meal at a favorite restaurant.
As I grew older, she would continue to surprise me with a lovely gift whenever I was able to visit, or she would send a gift home with my mom if I could not make it down to Tampa.
Even though the miles kept us apart, she was genuinely interested in how we were doing "up north" and would check in with cards and phone calls from time to time.
Your mom was a genuinely lovely person and I will miss her.
