I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I, too, had a pulmonary embolism as a complication with blood clots in August and by the grace of God was saved by my fiance. I am touched by the outpour of Love for Shayna and feel for her family and friends during this time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time. I also hope and pray that no one has to go through this.
Shayna's life was a true gift to the world. May the Lord, who carries all sorrows, bring comfort to the hearts of those closest to her, calmness to their spirits, and healing to their souls.
Barbara Zilisch There are no words to express the sorrow that I feel for you. You are in my prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Shayna, losing someone we love especially a child in death never, never easy, 1 Cor 15:26 speaks of death being an enemy and it as proven to be so robbing us of our loved ones, but Jehovah assures us at Isaiah 25:8 that soon death will be swallowed up forever and no longer will we have to worry about that enemy again, but in the meantime to help soothe our aching hearts he has given us a hope that is like the bandage over a wound, the hope at John 5:28-29 and Acts 24:15 and Psalms 37:11,29 the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again on a paradise earth under peaceful conditions, just think the tears of joy instead of sadness we will shed in being reunited with our loved ones. Titus 1:2 tell us it's impossible for God to lie so it's a hope we can put faith in. I hope these Bible promise bring comfort to your heart.

Although I never got a chance to get to know Shayna, I could still feel her love for nursing and for God. Her bubbly personality showed forth whenever she was around. may she rest in peace and my prayers go out to her parents, family and friends. Looks like God called one of His Angels home
