Ruth E. Angert's Obituary
Ruth E. (Vitello) Angert, 60, of Tampa passed away April 5th, 2014. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rose and brother Joe. She is survived by husband, Robert; father, Tony; mother-in-law, JoAnn; sister-in-law, Dawn; Aunt, Carmen; cousins, Suzette and Nicole and "sisters", Marcia Escobio, Mary Frances Granell, Vilma Sabella, Sandra Alfieri, Dorothy Banks, Sofia Ikonomou and Teresa Trumbach. She will be especially missed by the special children in her life, Godchildren, Kristen Kelley, Kim Granell and Nicholas Pelletier as well as Chris and Tommy Sabella, Jamie, Sam-Anthony and Francesca Granell. Ruth dedicated her life to family, friends and students, beginning her 37-year career at Middleton Jr. High. She was a charter member of Gaither (1984) where she sponsored many clubs and activities and was voted Teacher of the Year in 2005. As a creator of Gaither's "Cowboy Express" program, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to GHS Cowboy Express, 16200 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa 33618 or to the Humane Society of Tampa. Visitation will be Wednesday April 9, 6-8 PM with a service at 7 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home.
