Mr. Peter Vincent Pardo Jr.'s Obituary
PARDO, Peter Vincent Jr, 68, died peacefully on July 10, 2010 after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa. His love of family, friends, golf and sports brought him great pleasure. His legacy of achievement during a 48-year tenure at McKesson Corporation was recognized by a number of pharmaceutical industry leadership positions and honor in the U.S. Pharmaceutical's Circle of Excellence. He is survived by his loving wife, Erma; his sons Peter and Michael; his daughter-in-law Lauren; his three sisters, Francis Herranz, Mary Ballaban and Cecilia Hayes; and his four loving granddaughters, Sophia, Ava, Ella and Mya. Pallbearers are Gary McCollum; Bert Nocera; Vincent Pardo; Dick Puglisi; Jim Springer; and Wayne Suarez. Honorary pallbearers are his numerous breakfast friends in the West Tampa Coffee Club; dominos friends at Edwards Pipe & Tobacco; and his cherished colleagues that have spanned his many years of service at McKesson Corporation.He will be greatly missed by many. The Pardo family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Jose Cura and the Dr. Rozas Medical Group. Visitation will take place between 6-8pm, Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue.
