Pete Pardo, Louis Perez & Gene Fry are three of the reasons I moved to Tampa. During our work relationship at Johnson Drug Company I grew to consider Pete as one of my dearest friends. Over the years I have thought of him many times and regret not having stayed closer to both he and Erma. God bless Pete, Erma & his family. There are a lot great things about Pete that will live forever in my memory, but most of all the smile he always had for his family and friends. I'm glad I had an opportunity to at one time be a part of his circle of friends.

Pete was not only a big part of the only fishing trip I ever went on while a buyer for Kash n'Karry but he was a great help to me during my time in that position and throughout my many years with the chain. When he walked into Friends Health Mart Pharmacy and realized that Katrina and I owned it...the Pardo Smile just lit up his face. Petes smile, his kindness and his sense of humor will be forever etched in my mind and my heart. He will not be forgotten.
