Pastor Nunez Avila's Obituary
Pastor Núñez – Ávila Age 81, of Tampa, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 11, 2025, at his home.
He was born in 1943 in Havana, Cuba to Ángel Pastor and Digna Núñez. He graduated college in Cuba with a degree in accounting. In 1962, at the age of 18, he made the courageous decision to emigrate to the United States, arriving alone in search of a better life. Through hard work, determination, and an entrepreneurial spirit, Pastor established himself as a successful business owner and property investor in Tampa.
In 1977, Pastor married the love of his life, Nolia Fabre. Together, they built a life full of love and family, celebrating 47 years of marriage.
Pastor is preceded in death by his beloved older brother, Luis Núñez. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Nolia; a sister, Aurora Digna; five children: Neilani Keithley (Arthur), Naline Graves, Barbara Guillen (Angel), Pastor Luis Núñez (Margarita), and Nolia Perez (Victor); as well as his cherished grandchildren: MacKenzie, Andres, Emilio, Victor, Isabel, Lianyce, Giovanni, and Edward.
Pastor’s legacy of hard work, resilience, and dedication to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home located at 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603 immediately followed by a short graveside service at Myrtle Hill Cemetery at 4202 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.

Pastor nació en el 1943 en La Habana, Cuba recibido por sus padres, Ángel Pastor y Digna Núñez. Se graduó en Cuba con su diploma en contabilidad. En el 1962, a la edad de 18 años, Pastor, emigró a los Estádos Unidos solo. Con mucho trabajo y empeño, pronto se estableció como emprendedor exitoso y dueño de varios negocios en Tampa.
Pastor es precedido en muerte por su hermano mayor, Luís Núñez – Ávila. El es sobrevivido por su hermana, Aurora Digna, su esposa de 47 años, Nolia, cinco hijos, Neilani Keithley (Arthur), Naline Graves, Barbara Guillen (Angel), Pastor Luís Núñez (Margarita), Nolia Perez (Victor), y sus adorados nietos, MacKenzie, Andres, Emilio, Victor, Isabel, Lianyce, Giovanni, y Edward.
Habrá un velorio el Martes, 18 de Marzo del 2025 en la funeraria Boza & Roel localizada en 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603 e un corto servicio en el cementerio Myrtle Hill en el 4202 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610
