Mirta Castellano Martinez's Obituary
Mirta Castellano Martinez, 89, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 after a courageous battle with dementia. The family takes comfort in knowing she is with the Lord and reunited with loving family members.
Mirta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She never met a stranger. She was one of the best cooks we knew. Sunday dinners with the family was the highlight of the week.
She was born April 22, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis ‘Tirin’ Martinez, father Tony ‘Pituso’ Castellano, mother Gloria Diaz Castellano, brother Peter Castellano and nephew Peter Castellano Jr. She is survived by 2 sons, Louis (Mary), and Kenny (Kathy); 3 grandchildren, Louie Jr (Hayley), Zoie and Taylor; 2 great grandchildren, Trey and Gabriella; and her loving niece, Colleen Arias (Raul) and grandniece Tatiana (Karen).
The family would like to thank Rudy and Melissa Sumulong and their staff at Bamboo Villas for their loving care and support.
