Melba Massaro Morales' Obituary
Melba (Massaro) Morales age 75, born August 13,1935. Melba lost her life to lung cancer after battling 10 years of blindness caused by encephalitis.
She was the owner of Travel by Design travel agency and founder of Massaro Plumbing Company. Melba was a member of the Cuban Civic Club ,Club 15 and La Casa Cuba. She was once named "Hispanic Woman of The Year" in Tampa. Melba is survived by her Husband, Joe Morales, Son, Jay Massaro & wife Shawnabel. Grandson, Vincenzo Massaro. Daughter, Ellie Massaro.
Brother, Donnie Fernandez, prior husband Dody Massaro and long time caregiver, Berta Martinez and her nieces and nephews.
Melba impacted many families in the Tampa area through her benevolent actions and community service. She will be immortally remembered by her creed:" To Live, Love, Laugh". Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Boza & Roel Funeral Home. 4730 N. Armenia Ave., with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery to Follow.
