Ellie, The Massaro's made this city a better place. You may have lost your matriarch, but her memory lives on in all who she ever came in contact with. I have such fond memories of her, and her laughter and her gusto for life. Her humor was never ending and she made me smile always. She was one of the only women who I have ever met who transcended through generations and was as comfortable at a ladies society luncheon as with a group of college kids sharing a bottle of wine and good conversation. i miss you, your mom, and I am glad to have had you as part of our lives. Hope to see you sometime soon Ellie, and Melba hope to see you at least 70 years from now on my one way ticket to see St. Peter at the gates.
