I have so many fond memories, She taught me so much!
Mary Jo, You were so helpful when my Mother was sick. You were so loving and kind to your animals, that you brought in to Tampa Veterinary Hospital. You always sat by the wall and was so sweet and patient when you had to wait a really long time. You will be missed by man and beast. Love & Light to you and all your animals, Linda Martinez.
To Mary Jo, my dear, sweet friend of 54 years: You brought so much pleasure, happiness, and friendship to our lives.
And you did it with such love, humor, and selflessness. Because of you, our high school memories are filled with fun
and laughter. Starting each school day cramming 7 of us in your ’56 Chevy and continuing the joy rides after school!
Your love and pride of your family was so strong. The Ciccarello household wafted with Italian smells and hospitality:
your mom’s steak sandwiches, Nana’s sfingi, your brother’s homemade sausage, and your dad’s love and wit.
You were with me through every important event in my life thereafter, giving your love and support at every turn.
You played all your life roles to perfection. I remember Mary Jo the political activist, Mary Jo the social worker and court advocate.
Your goal was always to give of yourself and help anyone in need. You turned people’s lives around. Your talents and compassion
in this area were amazing. Thank you for all you did for us. I love you and will miss you every day. Be at peace my friend.

So many memories I don't even know where to begin. I will miss you Mary Jo so much. I will never have another friend who showed so much love and caring. Your smile upon seeing someone you cared about-shouting their name in greeting, followed by your hugs and kiss made one feel truly loved.
Your taught me to cuss and smoke -one I had to give up but the other I still do in your honor. I remember the first time I saw you in high school- smiling at everyone and greeting everyone and I remember the last time I saw you- still doing the same. There will never be another one like you Mary Jo. God grant you peace- all your friends will miss you terribly. Until we meet again.
