Mario Leon's Obituary
LEON, Mario, 90, of Tampa, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rose Giorgianni Leon; daughter, Loretta Fernandez and grandson, Joey LaRussa. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce F. LaRussa (Joe), Barbara M. Reed (Sammy); 6 grandchildren, MaryAnn, Deborah, Michael, Michelle, Angelique, Sami; 7 great grandchildren, Jenna, Jennifer, Angela, Tony, Luca, Starla, Gia and the De Leon Family. He was the owner and operator of Fiesta Chorizos & Morcillas. The family will receive friends for Visitation Wednesday, April 29, 2015 between 10 and 12 noon at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. A Catholic Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 at the funeral home followed by Entombment at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Alimar ALF for the care and compassionate service to Mario. Pallbearers: Joe LaRussa, Sammy Reed, Michael LaRussa, Eugene Greco, Mac Greco, Ricky De Leon. Honorary Pallbearers: Al Dato, Tony LaRussa and Luca LaRussa. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to Life Path Hospice Services 12973 N. Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, FL 33637-9975.
