Luis Diaz Ares' Obituary
Ares, Luis Diaz, 87 of Tampa, FL went to be with the Lord to join his beloved wife, Sarah, on May 17, 2016. Luis worked for the U.S. Postal Service as Superintendent of Delivery and retired in 1982 after 35 years of service. He was a parishioner and usher at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Luis lived his life with love for family and friends and service to all. Survivors include his son, Luis D. Ares , Jr. (Jeannie), his daughter, Linda Whelan (Denny), grandchildren, Erica Hall (Mike), Luis E. Ares, Brendan Earl Whelan, Sean Whelan (Megan), Erin Whelan, Shaylyn Whelan (fiance', Zach Wulderk). Great granddaughters, Emily Grace Hall and Adelaide Harper Whelan, brothers, Ruben Ares (Ida), Raul Ares (Karen), In-laws, Norma Mayor, George and Norma Mayor, Tessie Mayor, Luciano Alfonso, Sergio Camaro and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday May 28, 2016 from 1 - 2 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Luis's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
