As a Letter Carrier in the US Postal Service, Luis always treated me with respect and dignity. He taught me the importance of timeliness in collections and accuracy in casing and delivering mail, the fundamentals of quality service. Working for him was a learning experience in leadership.

Luis was beloved by so many! He was a caring and beautiful man who always had a smile and a hug. He also had the gift of laughter, always was so encouraging and kind as I practiced my Spanish on him. He was a blessing to know and will be missed. May God and fond memories of this beautiful man console all Luis's loved ones.
I was an usher with Luis... We, all the ushers,,,always enjoyed Luis...He was funny, always had a joke to share with us....he was a great friend...When he couldn't usher, everybody that came to Mass asked about him. He was well liked by the parishioners..
We love Luis and we will miss him ....
