Lucy Claire Baker's Obituary
On Wednesday December 25th, 2019, Lucy Baker, loving daughter of Angela and John (deceased 2004) Baker and sister Philippa, passed away at the age of 42. Lucy passed away at Tampa General Hospital, following a seizure at her home. Lucy was born on August 18th, 1977, at Ascot Maternity Hospital, Berkshire, England and the family lived in Nairobi, Kenya, for 9 years. The family moved to McLean, VA,. in the early 90's. She graduated with a BA degree from George Mason University. Lucy and her loving partner Craig Buist live in Tampa with their cute rescue dog Suzy Q,
Lucy was bright, funny and had a strong will. She had a passion for animals and nature and was a lover of music. Lucy had a quick wit and a compassionate spirit.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday December 30th, 2019, at the Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603, at 5.00 pm - 8.00 pm.
