Rudy was one of the best guys I've ever known. I offer my deepest sympathy to all his family, especially wife and children. If I recall correctly, we played baseball against each other in Little League and in Hills. Cty. Rec League when he played for Desoto and I played for Cuscaden. I believe he also went to Ybor Boys Club when we were kids, so I knew him from there. At HHS, we had same class phys ed first year with numerous locos, so PE was more hell raising than a class. In those formative years, Rudy was very good athlete, and we always got along and respected each other. We hung out a little socially and always had good times. I knew Rudy's father too obecause my grandfather was sereno at Las Novedades where Rudy's father worked. After hs we lost touch, except for once in 90s each had broken washer and we talked at laundromat on MLK. In my view Rudy was one of the very best. Im sorry I did not attend wake or funeral, but may his family know my thoughts are with them in their loss. I'm also sorry I lost touch with Rudy but we always brothers at heart. Vaya con Dios, Amigo. Charlie Jimenez
