Darlene, I am Cheryl Bolick, Mike and Peggy Smith's daughter. Mother had called recently to talk to your mom and found out from Phillip that she had passed away in April. Mother had received a card Christmas from your mom and was calling to catch up. They have been friends "forever" and she was saddened by Jennie's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I have a memory of Jennie as a very caring woman. When I lost my husband she was one of the first to call but then she didn't stop; she called and checked on me for a long time plus invited me to go to Village Inn for breakfast with she and Phillip. Of course I have memories of her smiling face as I worked with her in Northside and it was always a joyful experience when she was around even though we were working. Love, Naomi

I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Caltagirone. She was a dear lady and I remember her fondly from my growing up years with Jo Anna, my childhood friend. My most sincere sympathies go out to the entire family. May God give you all the comfort you need during this sad time. I know how much you will miss her!
I loved this lady... She was my "mom" when my own mother passed away and was always there when I needed advice or one of her delicious recipes! She was the best Nana to my daughters.... God speed, Jennie.
Phillip, my condolences to you and your lovely family during this sad time.
I pray the memory of Jennie's smiling face and your happy times together will lighten your grief. May Jennie rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Angie “Lena” Bissell
