Henry J. DiStefano's Obituary
DiStefano, Henry J. (Bucco), (92) of Temple Terrace, FL passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Antionette (Mo), parents Joe and Rose DiStefano, sister and brother-in-law Bessie LoScalzo (Vince) and sister Josie Palamino.
He is survived by his son Joe DiStefano (Debbie) and daughter Rose Pasquino (Darren), grandchildren Anthony DiStefano (Taylor), Michael DiStefano (Jenna) and Derek Pasquino, great-grandchildren Jacob DiStefano and Mason DiStefano, loving sister Linda Unfried (Karl) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Henry was born and raised in Tampa, graduated from Jefferson High School and the University of Tampa and later obtained a Masters In Education from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). He taught elementary education in the Hillsborough County School system for 10 years prior to changing careers and becoming a successful pharmaceutical representative for Lederle Laboratories and winning his company's Gold Cup three times. He and Mo were active members of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club and the Krewe of Sant' Yago of which he served as Baron XI in 1984.
Pallbearers include Anthony, Michael and Jacob DiStefano, Derek Pasquino, Steve & Stephen LaPerna and Trent Robinson.
He was a wonderful husband, father, Nanu, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend to many. His sense of humor was enjoyed by all.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the people that played important roles in his last years including the many friends that he made living at Blue Palms, his doctor Jonathan Alvior and assistant Wilma and their staff and the Teal Team at Lifepath Hospice who were so good with him and much appreciated.
The family will receive friends Monday April 20 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N, Armenia Ave. Visitation will be from 11am -1pm, followed by prayers and family remarks from 1-2pm and graveside interment at approximately 3pm at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lifepath Hospice, MADD Florida in honor of Henry DiStefano or the Charity of your choice.
