It’s difficult to put into words the joy that Henry brought into our family, because his presence was something you felt more than you could ever fully describe. Henry was truly the life of the party. Wherever he was, laughter followed, and ordinary moments were somehow brighter just because he was there.
One of the phrases that will forever make us smile is the way he would say, “We’re going to eat good tonight.” Those simple words captured who Henry was—someone who celebrated life, fellowship, and togetherness. He found joy in sharing moments, meals, and laughter with the people he loved.
Henry was kind, caring, and incredibly funny, but he was also humble and deeply faith filled. His faith quietly guided the way he lived and the way he treated others, with generosity, warmth, and grace. Being around him made you feel welcomed, valued, and at ease.
We always looked forward to Henry’s phone calls—especially the way he ended every single one. Without fail, he would say, “Love ya!” Those words were never casual; they were sincere, and they stayed with you long after the call ended. They are words we will carry with us always.
One memory that perfectly captures Henry’s spirit was how excited he was when the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl. His joy was so great that he wanted to share it with me, a Cleveland Browns die hard fan —sending a sweatshirt, not just celebrating a win, but sharing happiness in the way only Henry could.
Henry and Antoinette together brought so much joy into our lives that even now, just thinking of them brings a smile to our faces. The memories we shared—the laughter, the conversations, the love—are treasures we will always hold close. They brightened our lives simply by being part of them.
Henry and Antoinette made a lasting impact on our family. Their love, faith, and kindness will continue to live on through the memories we cherish and the stories we share.
