With a sad heart I am informing you that Harry Roberts Fonte, 73 of Tampa passed away April 13, 2018. Harry was a native and longtime resident of Tampa. He was a 1964 graduate of Plant High School and and a veteran of the U.S. Air Read Obituary
As a FSU student, I interned at the SAO and had the pleasure of getting to know Harry. I just met another gentleman at the game yesterday and we both agreed that he was the nicest, friendliest but also, a guy you didn’t want to p**s off! May he rest in peace. I only wish I kept in better contact.

Harry and I shared many days together at Gorrie, Wilson, and Plant. Though our lives separated after our Plant days, we reconnected many years later and kept in touch on a regular basis with one another. We supported one another through days and months of health adversity until Harry’s sudden passing. Harry always had a smile and a positive attitude. My good memories of him will last through my remaining days.
Harry was bigger than life itself. I enjoyed the moments we shared and will miss him greatly. I find it difficult to believe he is now gone. Until we meet again in that great lodge. May he Rest In Peace.
