To Karen, Kathy, Jerry and the family,
We were so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. Mr. Ramos was such a special man. He always had a smile on his face and a great story to tell. There are so many special memories from when we were younger and also as we got older it was such a pleasure to see him around town. He will be greatly missed by so many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to George's family. I first met George at the athletic fields of Land O'Lakes High School where he regularly supported and cheered on his grandson Robert's teams. There I learned of his teaching and coaching career and his ties to West Tampa Little League where my father sponsored teams and I enjoyed watching several future big league players as they developed. After my retirement I later saw him several times at Castillo's in West Tampa. I will miss this wonderful, friendly man who contributed to the positive development of youth in his community.
Dear Kathy and family,
Your dad was such a special man. He lived life the way it should be lived...to the fullest with gratitude. Even in bad times, he still maintained his zest and zeal for being happy and making those around him happy too. During the years our son played at Jefferson, you would look up to the bleachers and George was always there. At the beach I recall hours of him building sandcastles on the beach, playing with the kids, cooking and of course playing cards and dominoes. Norberto and I adored him and know, that like so many others whose lives he touched, he will be missed by all his family and friends. I will always remember George fondly as a loving and caring man who always made you feel special when you saw him. What a smile and what a guy!

To Karen, Kathy, Jerry and the rest of the Ramos Family,
I have so many great memories, from Mr. Ramos, being my Physical Ed Teacher to him taking me and my younger sisters to school...then the scary one, the one I tell to everyone when he use to jump out of his house in a Gorilla suit, on Halloween... It was scary but I looked forward to it every Halloween.. Being neighbors for so many years, I'm sure my sisters and I would agree, that we felt close like family even though we grew up and busy in our lives never get to see each other..I went to see him once or twice, and saw him at Ricks on the River.... He has touched many lives.. he was one in a million, happy go lucky person, (except when he got mad at you guys) LOL, nevertheless, he will remain a person I admired growing up with and let's not forget "West Tampa Little League" where I hung out most of time in my teens.. I remember him and "Juana" our other neighbor that was so fondly remembered also...They loved WT Baseball! We have loved ones that are welcoming him in heaven... God Bless the Ramos Family, love you and pray for Gods strength to help you through this difficult time.. May he RIP..
Well, I can start back when we're kids. I played on the same team as George Jr and was lucky enough to meet a great man which was George's father, George Ramos. George gave me so much support when I played ball.
When I boxed he didn't miss a fight. I remember this, because he always gave me a hug, whether I one or lost, he always said I did a great ! Even though these were small things they were big to me and made a great impression of a great man that I will miss dearly! George may you rest in peace, God bless you and your family!
So sorry for your loss.My thoughts and prayers are with the family.George will be missed buy all his friends at the coffee shop. George Lopez /Roberts City
