I have many fond memories of Tia Nee…but course her taking me to McDonald’s is at the top if the list. I would get to ride in the front seat (she had a car with bucket seats) and I remember she would put the McDonald’s bag really close to her, and when she turned the corner, her elbow would hit the bag and make that crunchy sound…😁 Till this day, I love the sound of a crunchy bag, especially one filled with McDonald’s, french fries! And I think she absolutely loved McDonald’s as much as all the kids did, all the way up until her late 90s all she wanted was a plain hamburger a senior coffee and an apple pie! So on several occasions when Elaine would say no 😁, Cathy or myself would pick up McDonald’s and take it to her!
I also remember her giving me my first little real job… I used to get to iron Tio Artie’s work shirts on Sundays, I would go and have spaghetti and then I think I got a dollar per shirt!
May you rest easy, Tia… as you sore with the angels! Give papa (Frankie) a big hug for me and Kiko…💕💕
Love, always, Anita
