Edwardo Perez's Obituary
Edward “Eddie” Perez, 76 of Lutz, Florida, passed away on January 5, 2021 due to complications resulting from COVID-19. Eddie was a lifelong resident of Tampa, FL and the son of the late Prudencio and Zoila Medina Perez.
Born in Ybor City, he was an accomplished welder for the Hillsborough County School Board and a proud Boilermaker with local Union 433. He was a loyal husband to his wife Donna of 48 years, a devoted and kind father who attended more dance recitals than he would likely care to admit, and an incredible role model to his two grandchildren.
Known for his warm smile and kind blue eyes, he was a true and faithful friend who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, provide his honest advice, or share an outlandish story. A lover of Street Rods, he could often be found cruising around in his Hot Rod, or tinkering in his garage, always wearing his signature cap.
He is survived by his wife Donna Alvarez Perez; daughter Larissa (Andrew) Rydin; and grandchildren, Brandon and Addison.
Eddie will be laid to rest at Centro Austuriano Memorial Park near his family. A visitation and ceremony are not planned at this time.
