Al & Shirley Fredrickson
Our sincere condolences to Donna, Larissa and family as well as the many life long friendships built over the years. After living in the same home for many years moving to Lutz 15 years ago was a daunting task and eerie all at the same time. After we were settled in Eddie walked over from across the street, introduced himself and let us know that he was there for us for whatever we needed. That was Eddie in a nutshell. The most honest and straightforward person you could ever know. I personally felt relieved and safe knowing he was near. He was a craftsman in the field of welding as a retired boilermaker. And of course everywhere he went he wore one of his signature boilermaker hats which made him stand out in a crowd for which he was proud of. Of course Eddie gravitated towards Al's garage with the older cars, engine building and so on. He used his knowledge of welding on some of the cars and of course discussing ways to put his spin on how he could make it better. It's all AI could do to contain his enthusiasm on expanding the project. That's when I could hear Al reply, "No we're not doing all of that, this is not a show car! " Almost on a daily basis I witnessed the camaraderie between them during many hours of conversation or watching Nascar races. He enjoyed running around town with Al on errands or visiting the speed shop in Zephyrhills. We feel the void of his presence and will always keep him in our hearts. PLEASE do not take wearing mask, social distancing, using sanitizer and washing your hands for granted. For in 3 weeks you may not be the one here to hug your loved ones.
