Caridad Lemus' Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Caridad “Cari” Lemus, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who peacefully passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 90. She was surrounded by the love of her family during the time of her passing.
Born on April 17, 1934, Cari was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to her family. She was warm and caring; her love and nurturing spirit shaped the lives of all who knew her. Cari was the heart of her family. Her home was always open to friends, family, and anyone in need; it was a place where laughter and love flourished. She took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home and was known for her delicious cooking. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience.
Cari was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Francisco, her husband Manuel “Pal” Lemus, her son Manuel Lemus III, her siblings Orchid Gonzalez and Frank Batista and granddaughter in law Vanessa Lemus.
She is survived by:
Her children Amparo Lopez, Miguel Lemus (Vivian), Rita Lemus, and Nellie Lemus (Chris) and daughter in law Debbie Lemus.
Her grandchildren Desiree Cabrera, Nicole Wilkes (Joe), Melissa Lemus (Nelson), Jose Lopez, Manuel Lemus IV (Leydi), Robert Lemus, Anthony Lemus (Jessica), John Vincent Rodriguez (Jen), Kevin Michael Rodriguez, Amanda Rodriguez, Miranda Lemus (Gabriel), Joseph DeStio, Jake Martin, and Cole Martin.
Her great grandchildren, Anthony Robles (Torry), Anthony Vara (Aaliyah), Danyella Lopez (Maykro), Trent Wilkes, Nelson Diaz, Mia Lemus, Sophia Lemus, Robert Lemus, Delilah Lemus, Dylan Lemus, Anthony Lemus, Manuel Lemus V, Ilena Rodriguez, Giada Farrar, Vincent Rodriguez, Solenna Rodriguez, Apollo Rodriguez, Jose Lopez II, Ella Lopez, Jayla Lopez, Chris Brito and Lili Brito.
Her great great grandchildren, Digiovanni Hartsfield, Amora Robles, Analiyah Vara, Anthony Vara and one on the way.
Her nieces and nephews, Rosenda Gonzalez, Hope Gonzalez, Lana Gonzalez, Dustin Batista (Leslie), Shawn Batista (Cystal) and Sara Sealey (Alex).
All of whom will carry forward her legacy of compassion, grace, and dedication. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace, and they will forever cherish the many memories she created with those she loved the most, her FAMILY!!
