Aurora del Carmen Nava de Rodriguez, de 73 años, falleció en Tampa, Florida, el 26 de Septiembre de 2025 a las 7:45 pm, rodeada de su familia quien la amo profundamente.
Nació el 12 de Diciembre de 1951 en Mérida, Venezuela, hija de Pablo Antonio Nava Zambrano y Josefa María Marquina Ruiz. Desde joven mostró gran dedicación al estudio, al trabajo, a su familia extendida hermanos, sobrinos e hijos. Inicio su vida laboral a los 18 años y se retiró en 1999 de la Universidad de Los Andes (ULA). En 1981 obtuvo el titulo de Licenciada en Educación. El 9 de Septiembre de 1975 contrajo matrimonio con el Dr. Diego Federico Rodríguez Acuña, con quien formó un hogar lleno de amor, Fe y solidos valores familiares. Juntos recibieron el regalo de sus dos amados hijos, Diego y Karddy. En 2013 recibio uno de los mayores regalos de su vida: el Nacimiento de su nieta Isabella, que se convirtio en su gran alegria. En 2019 se traslado junto a su esposo a Tampa, Fl para vivir con sus hijos y nieta a Tampa, Florida, donde continuó su vida dedicada a la familia y a su Fe.
Aurora fue una mujer de profunda Fe Catolica, firme defensora de su religion y gran devota de la Virgen Maria. Su amor por Dios y la Virgen Maria fueron pilares de su vida diaria y, con su ejemplo, ayudo a muchas almas a reencontrase con Dios. Alegre, familiar, amorosa y generosa, siempre se entrego al bienestar de los suyos. Su vida fue un verdadero testimonio de servicio y amor, y cultivo amistades sinceras que la recordarán con inmenso cariño. Además, su amor y pasión por la libertad de su querida Venezuela fueron parte constante de sus días.
Le sobreviven su esposo Diego Federico, sus hijos Diego Capadi, Karddy Nella, su nieta Isabella, su familia extendida, así como sus hermanos Nava: Filadelfio, Nana, Gladys, Adolfo y Alex Nava. La precedieron en fallecimiento sus hermanos: Oliva, Arcángel, Luis, Tulia y Golfredo Nava.

• Velorio (Wake/Viewing): Jueves, 2 de octubre de 2025, 6:00 – 8:00 PM en Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603.
• Misa de Funeral (Funeral Mass): Viernes, 3 de octubre de 2025, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM en St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3012 W Cherry Street, Tampa, FL 33607.
• Entierro (Burial / Rite of Committal): Viernes, 3 de octubre de 2025, 1:00 – 2:00 PM en Sunset Memory Gardens (cementerio), 11005 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
La familia agradece profundamente a todos quienes acompañaron a Aurora en vida y durante su convalecencia. Su luz, su Fe y su Recuerdo permanecerán para siempre en los corazones de quienes la amaron.
Aurora del Carmen Nava de Rodríguez, 73, passed away in Tampa, Florida, on September 26, 2025, at 7:45 p.m., surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 12, 1951, in Mérida, Venezuela, the daughter of Pablo Antonio Nava Zambrano and Josefa María Marquina Ruiz. From a young age, she showed great dedication to her studies, her work, and, above all, her family and children. She began her professional life at the age of 18 and retired in 1999 from the University of Los Andes (ULA). In 1981, she earned her degree as a Licensed Educator. On September 9, 1975, she married Dr. Diego Federico Rodríguez Acuña, with whom she built a home filled with love, faith, and strong family values. Together they welcomed their two beloved children, Diego and Karddy. In 2013, she received one of the greatest blessings of her life: the birth of her granddaughter Isabella, who became her greatest joy. In 2019, she moved with her husband to Tampa, Florida, to live close to their children and granddaughter, where she continued a life devoted to her family and her faith.
Aurora was a woman of deep Catholic faith, a steadfast defender of her religion, and a devoted follower of the Virgin Mary. Her love for God and the Virgin Mary were the pillars of her daily life, and through her example she helped many souls rediscover their relationship with God. Joyful, family-oriented, loving, and generous, she always gave herself to the well-being of those she loved. Her life was a true testimony of service and love, and she cultivated sincere friendships that will cherish her memory with deep affection. Moreover, her love and passion for the freedom of her beloved Venezuela were a constant part of her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband Diego Federico, her children Diego Capadi and Karddy Nella, her cherished granddaughter Isabella, her extended family, and her siblings Filadelfio, Nana, Gladys, Adolfo, and Alex Nava. She was preceded in death by her siblings Oliva, Arcángel, Luis, Tulia, and Golfredo Nava.

· Funeral Mass: Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3012 W Cherry Street, Tampa, FL 33607.
· Burial/Rite of Committal: Friday, October 3, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
The family deeply thanks all who accompanied Aurora during her life and throughout her illness. Her light, her faith, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
