I grew up living next door to Anolan and her husband Anibal. She was always kind and welcoming whenever I would visit. I remember sitting with her in the back yard while she watched her little children play. As a young teenager I would spend hours with her after school talking, listening to music over a transistor radio, and laughing out loud together. Anolan was only 10 years older than me so she had a youthful perspective that made her lots of fun to be with. It was the same whenever she came over to our home to visit my mother. They would also laugh together until their eyes would tear up.
That's how I will remember Anolan. She was always full of laughter. May she rest in peace. I understand the pain and grief of losing one's mother. My heartfelt condolences go out to her entire family. This a terrible loss.
