Zulema "Zully" Weller's Obituary
WELLER, Zulema “Zully,” 73, of Tampa, passed away unexpectedly of a cardiac event March 18, 2016. She was born in Argentina, where she worked as a Hebrew teacher. She was a devoted wife and mother but her multiple duties did not preclude her from earning a degree in finance at USF. Zully was an avid gardener and a nature lover. She was compassionate and broad-minded, and was always ready to help others, as her loyal friends would attest. A trained pianist, she would play Haydn with precision and flair but was too humble to publicize her talent. In Tampa, she was a life member of Hadassah and, for nearly 30 years, she was the manager for her husband’s medical office. She was preceded in death by her son, A. Steve Weller. In her later years, she dedicated most of her time to caring for her disabled son. Zully is survived by Conrad, her husband of 51 years, daughter Alexandra Weller, brother Elias Lew, niece Natalia Lew Pedemonte, nephew Leonardo Lew, other extended family, and cherished friends. A graveside service in the Reform Jewish tradition will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N Armenia Ave., Tampa.
