Zofia was shy; yet bold. She was timid; yet outspoken for those who experienced injustice. To know Zofia was to love Zofia. She had a dynamic personality that shined bright on the darkest days. Those who were fortunate enough to know Zofia were enriched by the moments spent with her.
Zofia lived to serve others. This was demonstrated in many ways; big and small. At the age of 5, Sofia expressed a desire to serve the homeless. From this desire developed, The Boom- a yearly coat drive for people experiencing homelessness. In true Sofia fashion she went beyond donating coats. She took time to deliver the coats to individuals experiencing homelessness and asked each person about their story.
Through Zofia left us much too early, her story only ends when we stop living her dreams. Speak of her often. Take time to really listen and understand the story of others. Model grace and love big.
