Rick Walter
Abuela, commemorating you is like the human mind trying to describe God. Something of this is so holy that thoughts of the ministry flood my mind when i think of you: The ministry is a cloth that hangs down from heaven to the earth. This cloth is the very garment of God. The ministry is a miracle of God’s love made tangible. The ministry is a signal of the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. His Kingly robes are fragrant and full of light. His presence is inexpressible. He is almighty and beautiful. The garment of God encounters heaven and diffuses that atmosphere in the earth.true ministry is unforgettable. Abuela, i have only received good from your hand and my relationship to you gave me access to an incredible love. As a child i ran into that freely. As an adult i am able to express it openly . When many brought harm you loved still. My memories of you are many, a lifetime full. Jennifer mentioned our vacations at the beach and your penchant for keeping special treats in your hand. I share her sentiments. Then there are the memories of you flying me on your foot as small child and letting me drive the Fifth Avenue home from school without anyone knowing. Every memory of you is a special light that brightens and warms my life. Abuela, so muck more than each light-filled memory is the absolute love that birthed them. What your life crafted in me is a hearth for God,s love. Finally in a perfect circle is the memory of leading you in prayer to receive The Lord Jesus as your Savior. We sat closely together on the loveseat in the living room as we prayed. Through tears you confessed your need of Him and asked Him to save you. Abuela, I will always love you and know I will see you again. Your Grandson, D.C.
