She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Raul “Chap” Morgado; She is survived by her children: Karen (Michael) Harley, Rex (Darlene) Morgado, Kimberly (Jesus) Valdes and Ryan (Kelly) Morgado; grandchildren: Garrett (Angelica) Hayward, MacKenzie (Michael) Panzarino, Jillian (Drew) Anderson, Rex Morgado II, Alexander and Matthew Valdes, and Reece Morgado; great-grandchildren: Finley, Bennett, Mark, Jacob: sister-in-law, Angie Morgado; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Yalo worked in banking her whole career under many job titles and several different banks, including Central Bank, Seminole Bank, Independent Bank and The Bank of Tampa. She was blessed to retire early so she and Chap could take many wonderful trips all over the world.
Yalo lived a long and loving life, blessed with a close-knit family and dear friends. She always put her family first and made sure each knew they were loved beyond measure. She was deeply loved by all who knew her especially those who called her Abuela. She will be forever in our hearts.
We would like to thank the nursing staff at Suncoast Hospice and St. Joseph’s Hospital for the loving care they showed her and her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her honor. The family will have a Celebration of Life in January, details to be determined.
