Wilma Lee Hoard's Obituary
Wilma Lee Hoard was a beloved grandmother, mother and wife during her incredible 93 years of life. She passed away in the early morning hours of June 11, 2024.
Wilma had a long full life. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama on December 4, 1930 to her parents, Guy Curtis Reagan and Liza Viola Hicks. She had one sister; Margie, and three brothers; AC, Wayne, and Billy.
Wilma was known for being hard working, strong willed, and very independent. She worked really hard as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed being outside and loved working in her yard that was full of beautiful plants and flowers. Wilma was also known for having a big heart. She loved her family and she adored her neighbors who were family to her as well. She was very blessed to have such sweet and caring neighbors surrounding her.
Wilma is predeceased by her husband, Earl Lee Hoard. She had three children; Robert Dacey File-deceased (wife- Gloria- deceased), Patsy Jo Mucho (husband-Paul), Tara Lee Morris-deceased. Wilma had three step-children; Elvis Earl Hoard (wife-Paula), Elvie Lee Hoard (wife- Debbie), Billy Ray Hoard (wife- Linda). Wilma all together had 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
We will miss Wilma dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
