Wilma Groce's Obituary
GROCE, Wilma, 85, of Tampa, entered into eternal rest on Saturday August 1, 2020. Wilma was born May 15, 1935 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the daughter of J. Stoke and Mary Meek Stephens. She moved to Tampa in 1952 and was employed with Publix Supermarkets for over 19 years.
She is survived by a son, Greg Groce (Patty); a daughter, Karen DiFranco (Andrew); four grand-children, Dana Garrett (Mike), Thomas Groce (Liz), Jessica Owens (Mark) and Joshua DiFranco; two great grand-children Owen Garrett and Nicholas Owens.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Groce, three brothers, Glenis D. Stephens, Glenard E. Stephens, and Leonard Z. Stephens; one sister, Thelma L. Smith-Pratt. Wilma was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was and is still deeply loved and will truly be missed. We know she is in God's loving hands now.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am, at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa, FL, with interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Masks and social distancing are required.
