Dawn and I are brokenhearted at hearing of Wayne's passing. We offer our thoughts and prayers to your family. Wayne has been our mechanic for 20 years and had become more than that, a friend. He bailed us out numerous times when in a bind with a car issue. He always talked about his love and pride for his family. I have never known a more honest and hard working man. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we could talk for quite awhile on many subjects. We will miss Wayne. God bless Wayne.

My Uncle Wayne was a man who loved his family. He was confident and compassionate. He had a strong work ethic and a sense of humor. He was someone to aspire to be like. He was genuine and real, and I will miss him.

I was sorry to hear about Wayne. I used to take my Honda to him when he had his shop on Linebaugh. He was always an excellent mechanic and nice person.Then I got a brand new Honda and by the time it started giving me trouble, he had closed the shop and I had lost track of him. My condolences to Kathy and the family. Most honest and best mechanic I ever had.

Wayne Douglas was the most honest, dependable, hard working, dedicated, knowledgeable, caring, trustworthy employee that I will ever have.

God must have had an issue with one of the angel vehicles that needed his expert ability to repair. Wayne told several customers of ours that he could fix almost anything but a broken heart. Only God can fix that!

Keeping you all in my prayers. So difficult to lose a loved one. Remember and cherish the good times. I was a neighbor for many years and remember asking Wayne for advice about every car I ever had. He always knew the answer. He was the hardest working man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He always shared how deeply in love he was with Cathy and his children. He would do anything for them.
