Vivian Reyes‑Capote passed away surrounded by love and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was defined by devotion to her family, generosity toward others, and a joyful spirit that brought light wherever she went.
Vivian loved her family deeply, especially her son, Gianni, who was the center of her world. She cherished time spent with loved ones, whether gathered together at home or sharing moments filled with laughter. Vivian had a caring heart and was always willing to help others, offering kindness, support, and encouragement whenever it was needed. She loved to travel and embraced life with joy, warmth, and a contagious laugh that those closest to her will forever remember.
Vivian was born in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, and spent her childhood in Carolina, Puerto Rico, where she lived until the age of fifteen. She later made her home in Tampa, Florida, where she continued to build a life rooted in love, family, and meaningful connections.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David Capote, and her cherished son, Gianni Capote. Vivian also leaves behind her loving parents, Margarita Cortes Ramirez and Israel Reyes Estrada, and her siblings, Israel Rolando Reyes Cortes and Vimaris Reyes Cortes, along with extended family and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
A Celebration of Life honoring Vivian’s life will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, located at 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33603.
In keeping with Vivian’s joyful spirit, the family invites attendees to wear something colorful, reminiscent of a spring day, as a reflection of the warmth, happiness, and love she brought into the lives of others.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you keep Vivian and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
