Virginia Valdes Ledo's Obituary
LEDO, Virginia Valdes, 96, entered peacefully into rest on Friday, June 15, 2017. She was a Tampa native, born June 2, 1921. Graduate of Hillsborough High School, she later married Siro Ledo, Jr. on September 5, 1943, and then opened and became co-owner of Ledo Realty and Insurance for over 50 years. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Adelaida and Edward Valdes, Sr., Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Alice and Edward Valdes, Jr. and Norma and Robert Valdes, and husband of 52 years, Siro, who passed away October 23, 1995. She is survived by her son Alan Ledo, and son and daughter-in-law Rex and Mary Frances Ledo; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She traveled extensively throughout the world, and more recently continued to enjoy playing cards, her daily Bingo and Domino games. She also enjoyed going out to eat at her two favorite restaurants, Malio’s and Iavarone’s.
Boza & Roel will conduct graveside services at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum, 4207 E. Lake Ave. at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of St. Joseph’s West Tampa Inc., 3012 W. Cherry Street, Tampa, FL. 33607 in her name.
