Violet Tamargo's Obituary
TAMARGO, Violet A., 99, native of Tampa, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Manuel Tamargo, Jr. She is survived by her children, Luana Lala and Manuel Tamargo III (Susan); many nieces, nephews and friends. Violet was a member of La Nuova Sicilia Unita lodge 1251. She worked at the Betty Rose Bakery in Ybor City for many years as well as Maas Brothers Bakery for 30 years. She was well known for her beautiful wedding cakes that graced the tables across Tampa for decades. The wonderful meals she cooked at home with family and friends will always be cherished. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2017 between 6 and 8 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 3 at the funeral home at 10 AM, followed by Interment at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park.
