So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have nothing but wonderful memories of her when I was growing up because ahe always shared with me and treated me as if I was her own daughter. I so enjoyed being mistaken for Susie's twin when she would dress us alike, although we looked nothing like each other. Violet was always there for my mother when she lived in our upstairs apartment. We had so much fun growing up in Ybor! I will never forget that she "saved" me from going to "Old Lady Poker House" when she talked my dad into letting me stay at St. Paul School. Although we lost touch for way too many years your mother will always live on in my childhood memories. I know she lives forever in your lifetime of memories. May you both find peace and know that your mother was a jewel.
