Vincent Pullara's Obituary
Vincent Pullara, born May 17, 1936 in Ybor City, Tampa Florida passed away at the age of 86 on November 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marian Valenti Pullara and Jimmy Pullara as well as his loving wife and best friend Lillian “Betsy” Pullara. Vince is survived by his 3 children, Justine Diaz, Vince Pullara, wife Bonnie and Steve Pullara, also his grandchildren, Lauren Dolecki, Taren Miller, Dominick Pullara, Jillian Ramirez, Makai Pullara and Sebastian Pullara. His great-grandchildren are Gianna, Owen and Addison Dolecki, also new born Logan Miller.
Vince was a graduate of Jefferson HS class of 1956, he was a 3 year letterman in multiple sports. He spent the next 30 years as a lab technician and quality control specialist for Schlitz Brewery. He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, athlete, lab tech, t.v. repairman, coach, fisherman, corkball pitcher, husband, son-in-law, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather…he was a true Tampa Legend.
Funeral services will begin with visitation starting at 9am Saturday, December 3rd followed by service at 11:00am, Vince will be laid to rest at 1:00pm in the Garden of Memories Cemetery on Lake Ave., Tampa FL.
