Victoria Suarez's Obituary
Victoria Suarez, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the comfort of her home.
She was born on July 19, 1937 in Tampa, Florida and lived a long and very full life. She led a life of strength and fortitude while being an exceptional mother to her only son. It was the two of them against the world and they were each other’s anchors throughout life, until her last breath.
All of those who knew her or crossed paths with her, knew or could visibly see that she was a very hardworking woman. She worked from a young age until her passing year. She had unlimited drive and loved to work; especially under Fred Alessi and the Alessi family for Vigo Importing and Alessi Foods.
One of her favorite roles for the company was doing their demos and she was beloved by all, both customers and grocery staff. She always made it her mission to proudly advocate for the brand/family.
She was as loyal as they come, both professionally and personally.
Victoria was not only an exceptional mother, she was also a very loving and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She played an active role and was very present in their lives. She attended every birth, every sporting and social event and made it a point to always show her love and support for each of her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
She was truly one of a kind; bold, brave and full of energy. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Victoria is survived by her son, J. Wayne Suarez, her granddaughters Christina S. Alvarez and Bianca Suarez, her great-grandson Zachary Carlos Alvarez and by many friends and loved ones who became family along her journey in this life.
Family, friends and those whose lives were touched by Victoria are invited to Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603 on Wednesday, May 8th at 11am to honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to make donations to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay
