Thomas L. Brammer's Obituary
Thomas Louis Brammer, 81, a longtime resident of South Tampa and member of the Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, passed away on April 15th.
Tom was born in August of 1944 to Robert and Louise Brammer in Winchester, KY, and moved to Tampa in the late 1960s. Tom served as an executive for several paint companies, including Porter Paint, and Coastal Coatings, which he founded. He was very proud that Ceramicote, one of the products he created for Coastal Coatings, was featured in an article for Popular Mechanics. Tom later founded the Brammer Consulting Group, where he provided quality assurance consulting for large scale construction projects, including Raymond James Stadium. Tom is remembered by his friends and family for his warmth, kindness, generosity, and his love of animals and boating on Tampa Bay. Tom is survived by his wife Lyn Klovos-Brammer, his son Robert Brammer, his nephew Matthew Coleman, his cousin Babs Burklew, her son Greg Burklew, and his cousin Cherie Petterson. A celebration of life will be held at the Tampa Interbay Moose Lodge on 5/16 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Tom’s name to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
