Terrence "Terry" R Malowney's Obituary
MALOWNEY, Terrence “Terry”, 67, of Tampa, passed away February 14, 2017. Terrence was a graduate of Jesuit High School, worked as a merchant seaman and on off-shore oil rigs. He proudly served his country in the U S Navy during the War in Vietnam. Returning to Tampa, he engaged in real estate management, with special interest in Ybor City development in the 1980’s. Terry was a very loving and giving person. In 1982 he was a living kidney donor to his brother John at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Catherine Malowney, brother Michael Malowney and sister Jackie Malowney. Terry is survived by his wife, Jackie Victor Malowney, mother in law, Diane E. Jones, his siblings, Kathleen Diohep, George Malowney, John and Kathy Malowney, Rosie and Richard Tilton, Sharon Ann Porton, Georgeann Malowney Knoles, Mary Kay Yobbi, Maureen Cramer, Steven and Debbie Jones, Cathy and Jim Sprigg, Loraine LaChance and Larry Jones, and lots of nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am, Wednesday, February 22 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S Dale Mabry, Tampa. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to The National Kidney Foundation www.kidney.org. Terry will be interred at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
