Susan L. (Moscuzza) Giovinco's Obituary
GIOVINCO, Susan L. (Moscuzza), 78, lifelong Tampa native, passed away May 1, 2012. Mrs. Giovinco was a 1952 graduate of OLPH School, 25 year member of West Tampa Optimist Club serving as secretary and treasurer for over 20 years. She was a member of Order Sons of Italy La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge #1251, the West Tampa Chamber of Commerce as well as the Greater Tampa Women's Bowling Association. She retired from the Hillsborough County School system as a data processor for Anderson, Mitchell and Roosevelt Elementary Schools. Mrs. Giovinco was preceded in death by her mother, Pasqualina Peres and her uncle, Joseph Peres. Survivors include her husband, Julio Giovinco, daughter, Lucy Sandelin (Steve), son, Michael Giovinco (Kelly), grandchildren, Rochelle Prado (Luciano) and Gabriele Giovinco, half sisters and brother, Donna, Mary Ann, Lucy and Pasquale, brother-in-law, Joseph, and nephews and nieces, Mary, Joseph, Julio, Julie and Frank. Catholic funeral services will take place at 10 AM on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL. Interment will follow in Colon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to West Tampa Boys and Girls Club, 1307 N. MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL 33607 or the West Tampa Little League, P.O. Box 4226, Tampa, FL 33677.
