Steve Rotolo's Obituary
Steve Rotolo, 93, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022. He was a lifelong Tampa resident. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 72 years, Mary; their children, Stephen Rotolo, Jr. (Debbie), and Lorraine (Ray) Beagi; 6 grandsons, Hector Delgado III (Evelyn), Christopher Delgado, Anthony Rotolo (Cleo), Michael Rotolo (Melina), Manny Bernabe, and Alex Bernabe; sisters, Frances Spoto, Shirley Rotolo; brother, Sam Rotolo, Jr.; many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Sam Rotolo; brother, Charlie Rotolo; and sister, Carmen Russo.
Steve was co-owner with his wife, of Grand Central Garage for 45 years. He loved painting jet skis, motorcycles, and race cars with his son. He was a devoted, loving husband, daddy, and Nano. He took joy in the simple pleasures of life. He also enjoyed watching the Bucs and the Rays very much in his earlier years.
Steve will be remembered for his great love of family, his love for dogs, tap dancing, playing the harmonica, and enjoying his many favorite Italian dishes; but mostly just being Nano.
Steve's family would like to mention our special thanks to the dedicated and loving staff and caregivers at Bormey Assisted Living Facility, and the outstanding Garnet team at LifePath Hospice for making his last moments comfortable.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay:
