Shirley Garcia-Frost's Obituary
Garcia-Frost, Shirley passed away peacefully at her home on December 18, 2020, at the age of 80. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Thomas David Frost. Shirley is also survived by her uncle, Alfonso Garcia; sister-in-law, Phyllis Miller; nephew, Robert Buggica Jr.; niece, Sharon Albanese (John); great nieces and nephews, Jennifer Gutierrez (Mike); Stephen Buggica (Victoria); Stefanie Jimenez (Jorge); Nicholas Albanese; Suzie Miller-Giard (Keith), and Billy Miller (Lisa). Shirley leaves behind many more family members and friends whom she loved dearly.
Shirley’s parents, Richard and Josephine Garcia; sister, Inez Buggica; brothers-in-law, Bill Miller and Robert Buggica, and other family members and friends precede her in death.
Shirley was born and raised in Tampa, attended primary school at St. Joseph Catholic School and secondary school at O.L.P.H. She attended mass regularly at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church until her death.
Shirley was a banker for many years, worked at Beall’s Department Store, and helped raise Stefanie and Nicholas. Shirley was an excellent cook, a collector of Precious Moments and collectible dolls, and enjoyed watching Rays Baseball games with her husband. She also played Dominos and watched Game Shows on TV.
Shirley will be sorely missed by many who loved and thought so well of her. The world has truly lost a very special lady.
