Sexton was a 3rd generation Tampa resident, son of Sexton Valenti, Sr. and Antionette Italiano Valenti. He graduated from Plant High School in ‘61, went on to St Pete College and to the National Guard. He spent most of his career in the family business, Sexton Valenti Produce, then retired from Sysco Food Service. He loved volunteering for Meals on Wheels and the faith and fellowship of his Bible Study
His family was his heart. He was happiest when he was surrounded by those he loved. He was the most kind, generous, humorous, caring, humble man with a gentle spirit. Quiet, strong - solid as a rock! He loved making memories, traveling with family ( especially to the mountains and the beach), and enjoying the local delicacies at his favorite restaurants. Sexton was a huge Buc’s and Rays fan. His faith in Lord grew stronger every day. He had a full beautiful life.
A funeral service is scheduled on Monday, July 18th at 12 noon with visitation from 10:30 to 12 pm at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, on Armenia.
