Santiago Abella's Obituary
Abella, Santiago, 84, of Tampa went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2011 in the care of LifePath Hospice and also being cared for by his wife of 34 years, Ofelia, his niece, Clotilde; his loving nephew, Ronnier and his step daughter, Nilda. He is also survived by his sister in Cuba, Ofelia and various nephews, nieces, nephews-in-law and many good friends. He was an independent owner of various businesses and retired in 1995 from Abella's Market and Abella's Laundry in Ybor City. Abella's family would like to thanks all his doctors including Dr L.J. Lamelas and Dr Edgard Janer. Flowers would be appreciated, Masses or donations to LifePath Hospice. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10-10:30 at the Boza & Roel Funeral Home located at 4730 N Armenia Avenue. A Catholic Mass will be held at 11 am at St Joseph Catholic Church with interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
