Sam Mortellaro, Jr's Obituary
MORTELLARO, Jr., Sam, 58, a lifelong resident of Tampa passed away unexpectedly. He was a graduate of Tampa Catholic High School, Florida State University and South Texas College of Law; after which he practiced law. Sam had a love for the beach and boating as well as a love of all sports, and was an avid runner. He followed the Bucs, the Rays, and the Bolts. Most of all he loved his family. Sam looked forward to all holidays, birthdays, special events involving his niece, nephews and their children and most of all Sunday dinner. He was preceded in death by his dad Sam Mortellaro Sr. He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Josephine “Dolly” Mortellaro, sisters Darlene Greco (Mac) and Cynthia Perry (Bill), nephews: Trey, Corey and Kyle (Erin) Greco, niece Megan (Cris) Rodriguez, aunt and uncle Carmen and Joe Midulla, along much extended family and friends. His presence will be greatly missed and he will forever be in our hearts. A visitation will be held from 4-5pm with a mass being celebrated at 5, Friday, July 15, at Christ the King Catholic Church 821 S Dale Mabry, Tampa.
