Sam Joseph Lupo's Obituary
Sam J. Lupo, age 62, of Tampa, Florida, passed away April 20, 2021.
As a child growing up in Tampa, Sam developed a fascination with music. He began playing the guitar at the age of 9, and eventually could listen to a song once and be able to replicate it on his guitar within minutes. He continued to play guitar throughout his lifetime, and especially
loved playing for audiences with his bandmates in Gatorfoot Band.
In addition to being a musician, Sam also enjoyed several hobbies. He became an avid photographer over the years and would take his camera on frequent trips to Disney for new pictures. His interest in technology led him to become a licensed drone pilot, and he was always happy to see the world from a new altitude. Sam also had a passion for automobiles,
was very knowledgeable about auto mechanics, and always enjoyed buying any car that he
admired.
Sam was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Teresa and Vincent D’Angelo. He is
survived by his life partner, Jason Moore of Frewsburg, NY, parents Grace Faedo and
Salvadore Joseph (Irma) Lupo Sr., sister Gina Maria (Christopher) Lupo-Stark, and brother
Salvadore Joseph (Lisset) Lupo, step-sister Colette (Eric) Fuller, nephews Joshua Anthony
Stark, Lucien Matthew (Constance) Stark and Juliano Salvadore (Samantha) Lupo, nieces
Cecily Janine Lupo, Giana Marie Lupo, and 8 grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Boza & Roel Funeral Home on April 30th from 3pm-7pm for family and
friends
