A FATHER
A Father is a great teacher
Through him a child will see
That miracles are all around
Inside God's Galaxy.
While seasons change from Winter to Spring
A father understands
And shows his child a thousand seeds
Can make a grassy land.
The father's hands were made to mold
The eager life he holds
His wisdom to instill the truths
His child must then be told.
A father is a man that builds
Toward a bright tomorrow
And from the knowledge he will gain
His child may someday borrow.
Dear dad,
A Father is the name given
The person you have been
We have loved you as a Father
And have known you as a friend.
