Mrs. Ruth Radice's Obituary
RADICE, RUTH Marcel Craven, 93, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Bert and Estelle Skepala. She had 2 children, Sandra Wehle, and Rick Nardelli (Loretta), and 4 grandchildren, Joy Niklas (Ed), and Ana, Chris (Angela), and Stephen Nardelli (Tess) and 3 great grandchildren, Andrew, Giana, and Giselle Nardelli, who all will remember her with warm love. Ruth met and married Larry Radice sixteen years ago through the St. Lawrence Senior Citizens Group, and they merged their families into a strong group. She always felt like Larry's brother Pete and sister Lorraine were so very supportive, as were Larry's children Saundra Suarez and Darrel Shedd, and Sharon and Rudy Lopez and Tim Radice, and the entire Radice family. She appreciated and loved them all. Ruth was an accomplished artist and had been painting for over 30 years, and was a past president of the Tampa Academy of Art. She painted at the Life Enrichment Center for many years, had made dear friends there with the staff and her fellow painters. To her, painting the LEC was a focal point in her life. She was a charter member of the St. Lawrence Columbiettes, and was actively involved in the lives of her family. There will be a Memorial Visitation Friday, July 25, 2008, at 10 AM in the St. Lawrence Church Chapel. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. The Mass will be jointly concelebrated by Father Tom Murphy and Msgr. Laurence Higgins. Following the Mass there will be a reception in Higgins Hall for the celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in the name of Ruth Radice to the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 North Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33612.
